This discussion is about the possible match-winning combinations of the eight teams contesting in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2010. The order is based on my conjecture of the team favorite to win the trophy.

At most, 16 best players are picked from every team. The availability of overseas players is an assumption based on the conclusion of their national duties and that they would be satisfied with the security arrangements to participate in the tournament.

International ODI/Test series falling on IPL dates:

  • New Zealand vs Australia: February 26 to March 31, 2010
  • Bangladesh vs England: February 23 to March 24, 2010
  • West Indies vs Zimbabwe: February 26 to Mach 14, 2010
